AmeriLouver is Metal City Fab's proprietary louver screening panel system, designed for the full range of commercial and industrial screening applications. Unlike competing louver products that are available only in aluminum, AmeriLouver is fabricated in both steel and aluminum, giving the design team the ability to match the material to the structural requirements, budget, and environment of the project.
Every AmeriLouver panel is electronically welded in our shop as a complete, rigid assembly. The 1/8" wall aluminum louver blades seat into punched 2" x 1" x 1/8" channels at 3-1/2" O.C. spacing with 1/2" overlap between blades and 3" clear between. At 6 feet tall, each panel carries 9 louvers per bay and 18 overall, with a 2" sweep at the base for drainage clearance. The 2" x 2" x 1/8" frame is solid welded and mitered. The result is 100% direct visual screening from every angle. Panels will not rattle, loosen, or distort over time, even in high-wind rooftop installations and daily-use dumpster gate applications.
The louver geometry delivers 100% direct visual screening while maintaining airflow through the panel. The system is rated for 30 lbf/sq. ft. uniform wind pressure (inward or outward) and thermal movement across a 120 degree F ambient range. Posts are 3" square x 3/16" extruded tubular aluminum with base plates surface-mounted using 3/4" anchors. All fittings and fasteners are stainless steel. The system is also available in curved panel configurations for round HVAC units, architectural facades, and non-linear applications.

Every AmeriLouver installation is backed by PE-stamped structural calculations for wind load, mounting, and screening height. All aluminum per ASTM B221 (extrusions) and ASTM B209 (sheet), alloy 6063-T6. Welding per AWS D1.2. Powder coat per AAMA 2604 with 2H hardness, 160 in-lb impact resistance, and 1,000-hour salt spray rating. Specifiable under CSI Section 32 31 13.
