Onto concrete pads. No multi-trade, multi-week site work.

TeamBox is a modular dugout system for baseball and softball fields, built from 40-foot steel shipping containers and fabricated under factory-controlled conditions in Warren, Michigan. It is not a construction project. It is a manufactured product with a fixed scope, defined pricing, and a 12-week lead time from order to delivery.

For school districts replacing aging wood dugouts, the math is straightforward. Traditional stick-built dugouts cost $250K-$400K+ per pair, take months of on-site construction, and depend entirely on the quality of the field crew. TeamBox delivers the same pair for $150K+, in 12 weeks, fabricated to the same standard every time regardless of which campus it goes to.

Each unit arrives on a flatbed, is crane-placed onto pre-poured concrete pads, and is ready for play once the electrician runs power. No multi-trade coordination. No change orders. No disruption to school schedules.

The 40-foot engineered steel structure is rated for snow loads, wind, and freeze-thaw cycles with a 25+ year lifespan. Interior features include composite bench seating that will not rot, splinter, or deteriorate, durable rubber flooring designed for cleated shoes, and black welded wire mesh on the front and sides for visibility and safety.

The MCF Advantage

Why Schools Choose TeamBox

01

Budget Certainty

Fixed scope. Defined pricing. No change orders, no allowances, no surprises. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice.

02

Factory Quality Control

Every unit is fabricated under controlled conditions in our shop. Not dependent on weather, not dependent on the crew that shows up. The unit that goes to the varsity field is identical to the one that goes to the JV field.

03

No Schedule Disruption

Crane placement takes hours, not weeks. No staging areas, no construction traffic, no multi-trade coordination during the school year. Plan the pour, plan the delivery, done.

04

Multi-Campus Consistency

Districts with multiple campuses get the same product at every field. Same materials, same finish, same quality. Standardization simplifies maintenance and presents a unified district image.

05

Upgrade Path

Start at Varsity and add features later. The 40-foot steel platform is the same across all three configurations. Storage, branding, lighting, and padding can be added without replacing the structure.

06

25+ Year Steel Lifespan

Engineered steel rated for snow loads, wind, and freeze-thaw cycles. Weather-rated exterior paint in custom school colors. Wood dugouts last 10-15 years. TeamBox is built to outlast them by a factor of two.
